Working with the chamber of commerce of Reus (Catalonia) we organised a press trip to explore the regions of DOQ Priorat & DO's Conca de Barbara, Montsant, Tarragona & Terra Alta. This popular trip included an introduction to the region, tours of wineries, tastings and closed with a visit to a regional wine fair. The group included several masters of wine, wine writers for regional newspapers, wine columnists in national newspapers, broadcasters and journalists from wine trade press, all of whom expressed their warm thanks to Hispanic following the trip.
Hispanic, working with the DO Cigales, successfully invited Jancis Robinson OBE, MW to visit Cigales and taste the DO wines. Jancis Robinson is a renowned British wine critic, journalist and editor of Wine Literature. She currently writes a weekly column for the Financial Times, and for her website jancisrobinson.com
